Overview

Previewing a dataset on the map interface allows you to visually assess its relevance and quality before making a purchase decision. By overlaying the dataset on the map, you can see exactly where the data applies and how it aligns with your specific areas of interest. This preview includes key details such as coverage, data density, and quality estimates, helping you make an informed decision about whether the dataset meets your needs without committing to a purchase upfront. The preview gives you a general idea of the data, but unlocking the dataset with an access key will reveal complete details, including precise data points, enabling full use in your map visualizations.

Map Interface Preview

To view a dataset preview on the map interface, click the "Preview" button on the details panel. This will download the dataset preview directly onto the map, where it will be saved for later use.

Preview Download

To view and interact with a dataset preview on the map interface, it needs to be downloaded first. The download process is usually quick, but it may vary depending on the dataset size. Once downloaded, the preview will be saved in your previews, allowing you to access and use it later without needing to download it again.

Preview Settings

A downloaded dataset preview can be customized by adjusting its style settings, allowing you to differentiate it from other datasets on the map interface.
