Overview
A saved view is a snapshot of a specific configuration within a map template, capturing settings, shape layers, enabled area boundaries, and dataset visualizations at a particular moment in time. This allows you to preserve and revisit an interesting view or specific analysis goal, ensuring that the exact combination of elements can be easily accessed and shared for future reference.
Note
Saved views are linked to the map template in which they were created. When creating a saved view, you only have access to the configuration of that specific map template.
How To Use Saved Areas
Here are some guidelines on how to effectively use saved views:
1. Preserve Important Configurations: Use saved views to capture and retain significant configurations of your map template, ensuring that you can easily return to a specific setup.
2. Track Analysis Progress: Save views at different stages of your analysis to document and track your progress, allowing you to revisit and compare various points in your research.
3. Facilitate Collaboration: Share saved views with team members to ensure everyone is working with the same configuration, enhancing communication and collaboration on specific goals.
4. Create Multiple Perspectives: Develop multiple saved views to showcase different perspectives or aspects of your data, providing a comprehensive understanding of the information.
5. Presentation and Reporting: Utilize saved views to create polished presentations and reports, allowing you to demonstrate key findings and visualizations effectively.
6. Revisit Interesting Findings: Save views of particularly interesting or relevant data visualizations, making it easy to revisit and further explore these findings in the future.
